Emily Piché
RVT, CHPT, CPEP
Emily Piché is the Founder and CEO of The Art of Goodbye.
She is a Registered Veterinary Technician, Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Technician, and Certified Peaceful Professional who has dedicated the last six years to working in Hospice and end-of-life care.
During this time, she has assisted a veterinarian in the start-up, growth, and development of one of Canada's first Veterinary Hospice Centres.
In addition to her years of experience, Emily is a graduate of the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy’s “Master Program'' and the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care’s “Certification Program”.
In 2021, Emily had the honour of becoming one of Canada’s first Registered Veterinary Technicians to regularly provide end-of-life care to patients under the “Indirect Supervision” of a veterinarian.
Since then, she has helped thousands of families say goodbye to their beloved pets from the comfort of their homes.
Helping families in this unique way has been incredibly rewarding and has inspired her to help other Veterinary Professionals learn “The Art of Goodbye”.
